Qream with a Q

I.C.E recently took care of the Princess in your household but what about the Queen?  Well Pharrell Williams, producer and performer, has the Queen taken care of!  Qream is the newest line of liqueur from the makers of Ciroc.  Its pronounced Cream but with a twist:  replace the C in cream for the Q in Queen.  A liqueur truly for a Queen!  It is available in Peach & Strawberry.  Check it out at http://www.qreamwithaq.com

The strawberry flavor is rosy pink, opalescent in appearance and tempts the taste buds with a lightly decadent mélange of sweet berries. The aroma opens up like melted strawberry ice cream on a hot summer day. The initial taste is of ripe, sweet strawberry and fresh cream, followed by light tropical notes, a silky texture and a touch of warmth from the premium vodka, resulting in a clean full bodied finish, with a whisper of vanilla.
-Qream

The peach flavor is frosty soft in appearance and tempts the taste buds with a lightly decadent burst of fresh ripe peaches. The bouquet is fruit forward with subtle vanilla-cream notes and luscious fruit. The initial taste is delicately creamy, with peachy sweet top-notes balanced by exotic tropical fruit nectar, a silky cream texture and the brightness of premium vodka spirit, resulting in a clean, sublimely juicy cream finish.
-Qream

This liqueur will definitely be a hit at any event!  Let me know how you enjoyed your Qream and sent pictures too!  If you have any recipes using Qream....send those too!

Ciroc Strawberry - Lemonade "I.C.E" pops

It's getting HOTTT in Atlanta and this is such a sexy treat!  Matter of fact- its a SIGNATURE of I.C.E!
ENJOY! I.C.E fam :)

Serviing:  6 ice pops in the standard ice pop molds

4 cups fresh strawberries
1/4 cup grandulated sugar
1 cup lemonade (preferred Simply Lemonade)
1/2 cup of Ciroc

Rinse strawberries in cold water and remove stem.  Cut strawberries into halves in medium sized bowl, combine strawberries, sugar and Ciroc.  Let the mixture sit in the fridge for a about 30 minutes until the strawberries soften and start to break down, then puree in blender with lemonade.  Pour into ice pop molds and freeze for 4 hours or until sold.

*ALTERNATIVE*

You can skip the ice pop molds and add ice to the blender for a frozen drink.  Add more Ciroc to your liking.

POLISHED & PRIMPED?

I am a true FASHIONISTA and I love finding "locations" around Atlanta where the norm does not shop.  Well, well, well!  I am driving down W. Peachtree and what do I see?  Nearly wrecked my car trying to check it out as I drove by...

Yes!  I turned around, parked my car and jumped out.  Didn't even pay the meter.  I had to get inside.

This spa and boutique is absolutely my new FAV!  I already told my Husband that I need to go shopping here...its a must.  So here is the I.C.E cream scoop!

In the front, its a nail spa. Thus the reason of the name Polished.   The prices are very reasonable and they have great colors to choose from.  I'll fill you in on a little secret...stay close by!

The back is the clothing boutique.  They carry labels such as Blaque Label, Valerie Tolosa, Voom by Joy Han and Blank NYC.  They also carry accessories.  I am telling you...I am in love with this place.

While browsing, I met one of the owners - Dawn Riel.  She is a Doll!  She was telling me about the nail bar in Smyrna called Polished (there is the secret).   So Polished is the nail bar only and Polished & Primped is the nail bar and boutique in one.  This place is so Haute, you need I.C.E ....Check out the pictures below:

Mix it with I.C.E ....

@ the DO...
Do (pronounced DOUGH) @ THE VIEW

One of my girls told me about this place so a FIELD TRIP is a must!!!
This place sounds awesome and the grand opening was on no other than Cinco De May!

Do, as in DO, RE, ME, FA, LA, is sooo swanky...I don't even know if I should be giving up the details of this treasure.
For one...this is a nearly paperless establishment.  So state of the art its ridiculous.

Do is a casual dining establishment serving pizza and tapas.
Every table has an Apple I-Pad where you place your order from the menu, call for valet, and change the music all from your table.

I am sold!  If you check it out before I do...let me know!!!!

Do at the View

P.S.. this would be a great place to have a party or small event.  Some pictures I have seen show a patio which is great for the summer....stay tuned...

What to do?....=

Dream wedding cutbacks?....
So your dream wedding is drastically over budget?  What do you do?  There is plenty!

  • I.C.E - A creative Event Planner, such as myself, can help you stay within budget so that even if you want those expensive invitations, I can create a DIY project which will be less expensive and keep you within budget.
  • Look at your surrounds for inspiration...look for colors...and even designs.
  • Borrow your veil.
  • Rent designer dresses for your bridal party....who wears them again anyway?   Such sites are Renttherunway.com  &  Lendingluxury.com
  • Use candles instead of flowers.  Flowers are expensive. (period).
Candles can be decorated with faux flowers, diamonds or even pictures.  The sky is the limit
  • Make your own invitations...Hobby Lobby and Michael's are great places to start.  They have all the stock card paper in many colors, styles, and themes.  They also sell  all of the trinkets.  Again, being creative is the key!  You may have to use something that is intended for a bracelet to tie or glue onto your invitation.  Every section is your playground.
  • HIRE...I.C.E....INSTYLE COORDINATED EVENTS.  Weddings are stressful and you may not have a clue on who, what, when, where and why...but "I DO!"

Cupcake Dreams.....

I have a sweet tooth...well several, which caused me to visit two cupcake boutiques in two days.  I was determined to get to a 3rd location but Atlanta traffic would not allow.  :( (sad face)

First stop in Cupcake Land:

CamiCakes

I had the pleasure of having the Carrot cupcake (my favorite cake) and Salted Caramel.  OMG!  I was in for a treat!!!  Now a couple of days ago I ordered a Carrot Cake Cupcake from a cupcake place by my house.  YUCK!  CamiCakes was far from that disaster location I visited.

1.  The atmosphere is so cute!  Everything pink!  Even the box!  In order to make my experience of wonders, I requested the PINK box with the CamiCakes sticker. I want it all :)  I could have opted out and gotten the clear plastic container..but hey...life is short!

2.  The menu is outstanding.  Presentation is everything and CamiCakes surely knows how to appease the eyes.  Each cupcake has a contemporary "decoration" and with a flair that you may not want to even eat it.  Just keep it in the box for pure looks.  But trust ME...this is a desire that wont last long because the sweet smell when you walk in...waiting is NOT an option.

P.S.  I'm so into details....(well I am an Event Planner)...even the Coco-Cola drinks are in a cute metal bottle.   I just love this place.  I will definitely be back again to order a dozen or so......yummy!
