High Heel Cupcakes

I am sooooo in love with this idea - I think I will make a few for my daughter!

This is ALLL you need:

High Heel Cupcakes

Supplies
{for a pair of high heels}
2 cupcakes
2 Milanos
2 pirouette rolled wafers
- ice cupcake and outline the Milano with icing as well
- insert the Milano at a 45 degree angle into the cupcake
- take the pirouette and cut it to the right height to make the heel of the shoe
- use icing to bond the Milano and pirouette together
- let the pair sit over night to help the icing create a firmer bond

Tips
- build the cupcakes on a stable surface such as a piece of cardboard that can easily be moved or build them where they will be displayed
- cut the pirouette at an angle to better fit with the Milano

I can't wait!!!!!

OMG!  I am definitely turning into a little girl again & it's not even my party!  lol!!

As you can tell....I love pink! (shhhh!)  I just couldn't wait to have someone's party at this location.  I now have 2 reasons.  #1:  I am a cheer coach to 8 sweetie pies and but of course I am in charge of the banquet.  #2 I FINALLY had a little girl (thus the reason I have been M-I-A ) who will have her 1st birthday at this totally fabulous location.

Enough holding out :)

(drum roll)

Yummy! Strawberries filled with Cream Cheese

Ingredients:
8 ounce package cream cheese
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tablespoon vanilla extract (my favorite is Mexican Vanilla)
Using a mixer on medium speed, combine all of your ingredients together until fluffy.
Set aside.
Cut the tips off of the strawberries.
Cut the tops off of the strawberries.
Place the strawberries on their bottoms.
Take a small melon baller to scoop out the tops.
Fill a pastry bag with the cream cheese mixture.
Take a star tip (my favorite is Wilton's 2D which gives a beautiful ruffled look)
Pipe into berries until the cream cheese mixture brims over the tops.
Voila! Simple and delicious!

Or.... For a quick tip: fill with ready made icing in a can!  I prefer Buttercream Icing made by Betty Crocker

This is a simple & EASY idea for ANY event!  Enjoy!

eBay Wedding?

Yes!  It is possible to have an eBay wedding because Bea Mcmonagle (Cardenas), a director of global communications for Bumble and Bumble, the salon and haircare company loved by celebrities and fashion experts, created and designed her own wedding by buying her vintage items strictly from eBay.  Here is how!

Save the date cards were photos of Cardenas and her now husband, John McMonagle, as Samantha Baker and Jake Ryan in "Sixteen Candles" recreating that famous dining table scene. On their first date, Cardenas and McMonagle along with their love for all things by Wes Anderson, especially the "Royal Tenenbaums," so the wedding party had a "Royal Tenenbaums"-themed photo shoot prior to the wedding, and photos as well as props from the shoot were scattered throughout the venue.

Escort cards were vintage lockets with table numbers printed inside, affixed with bits of lace to vintage suitcases.  The lockets she used as escort cards were $25 for a lot of 100.  Even the vintage lace used  was from eBay!

Wedding invitations were printed on vintage napkins purchased on eBay.

Although Bea was unable to remember how much she spent in total for her wedding...this is truly inspiring!  So all of the ladies looking to find good bargains - 1st try eBay.  Never know what you will find!

eBay tips:  "‘20s," for example, instead of "twenties" per Mcmonagle can yield extremely different results.
My tip:  Why not try them both!

Your theme for your event or wedding is always set off by the centerpieces at the table(s).  Here are a few ideas that differ from the normal floral arrangement.   They will definitely be the center of attraction!

i.e Peppermint herbs can be used with vanilla ice cream

 Paper Doily Chandelier

 Tea Cups

 Takeaway Orchids
Doubles as a centerpiece and a take home gift for Guest

 Vintage Garden
Find vintage items to place on this "couture" centerpiece.  Guaranteed to be the talk of the table!

Baby Bump Bride

So....you are expecting and planning for a wedding?  Really not sure what to do or what you will look like as a Bride?  Well don't worry!   I.C.E has found tips on how to pick a dress to over come your worries and make you into the best looking Bride EVER with a baby bump!  Your guest will adore you from the moment you walk down the aisle!

Empire Waist
This is one of the most popular maternity wedding dress styles as it works great with the baby bump. The high waist line dresses accentuate your beautiful curves which really help with the transition from your bust to your belly.

Long Sleeves
Whether the wedding is in a cold weather climate or you are looking for a style that hides the weight in your arms, long sleeves are a great choice. You can wear a dress that has long sleeves built in or you can wear a long sleeve bolero jacket over a strapless or spaghetti strap dress.

Short Sleeves
Maternity wedding dresses with short sleeves are great if you have to wear a more supportive bra to hold up the growing bust. They also are more modest than strapless or halter styles dresses if your wedding is in a warmer climate.

Strapless
The strapless dress is very popular for pregnant brides in the empire waist. This waistline helps the strapless dress stay up well as it sits on the top of the belly. The strapless dress comes in a variety of materials including satin, silk and stretchy lace.
Strappy

There are several different styles in the strappy dress category including thick straps, spaghetti straps and shoulder straps. Some of the most popular maternity wedding dresses worn by celebrities fall into this category. While some strappy dresses are more risqué there are plenty of modest ones available.

Halters
A favorite style wedding dress for the larger bust size women, the halter wedding dresses are wonderful for pregnant bides. This type of dress comes in a variety of styles including the scoop, straight, high and V neckline. They look great with an A line or empire waist as well.

Short Length
Some of the less traditional maternity wedding dresses are shorter in length. However, you can find a variety of beautiful short style dresses in empire waist, A line and halter styles made of satin and lace. The short dresses are great if your legs have not started to swell and the weather is warm.

Tea Length
Only a select few of the maternity bridal dresses come in tea length as it can be a hard length to match with swollen calves. It hits below the knee and above the ankle which is a hard length for many women. If you have small calves this is a flattering length and would be a perfect choice.

Long Length
Long length maternity wedding gowns are the most popular these days amongst pregnant brides. The nice thing about this length of dress is that it comes in all the styles available. Long dresses are wonderful because with the right style and material they can slim you down when you are pregnant.
